Welcome to D Elise After Dark, a Blood Press Production. These Terms of Service (“Terms") govern your access to and use of D Elise After Dark’s website, digital content, and subscription services (the “Service”). By subscribing to our Service or accessing our content, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

1.       Subscription Plans and Billing

We offer two primary subscription models to provide flexibility for our readers.

·         Monthly Subscription: You will be billed every thirty (30) days. This plan offers the greatest flexibility with no long-term commitment.

·         Annual Subscription: You will be billed once every twelve (12) months. This plan typically offers a lower effective monthly rate in exchange for a one-year commitment.

By providing a payment method, you authorize D Elise After Dark, a Blood Press Production, to charge the applicable recurring subscription fee at the then-current rate, plus any applicable taxes.

2.       Automatic Renewal

To ensure uninterrupted access to our journalism, all subscriptions are set to automatically renew.

·         Monthly Plans: Will renew automatically each month on your billing date.

·         Annual Plans: Will renew automatically each year on the anniversary of your start date.

·         Notifications: For annual subscriptions, we will send a renewal reminder via email between 15 to 45 days prior to your renewal date, outlining the upcoming charge and how to cancel if you choose.

3.       Cancellation Policy (“Click to Cancel”)

·         Mechanism: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings by clicking the “Cancel Subscription” button. You will not be required to speak with a representative or navigate obstructive “save” attempts to finalize your request.

·         Timing: To avoid being charged for the next period, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

·         Access After Cancellation: Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current paid billing cycle.

4.       Refunds

Subscription Fees are generally non-refundable. We do not provide credits or prorated refunds for any partial subscription periods or unread content.

5.       Intellectual Property

All content published by D Elise After Dark – including articles, photography, videos, illustrations, and logos – is the property of D Elise After Dark or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and read our content for non-commercial use only.

6.       User Conduct and Community Standards

By adhering to our Service and participating in our reader community, you agree to adhere to good community practices:

·         Abusive Behavior: You are strictly prohibited from posting comments that are abusive, derogatory, threatening, or harassing.

·         Constructive Dialogue: We engourage you to be constructive and respectful; depate the ideas presented in our journalism, not the people behind them.

·         Moderation Rights: D Elise After Dark reserves the right to remove, edit, or hide any comment that violates these standards. We may also employ automated moderation tools to assist in flagging disruptive content.

·         Restrictions: You also agree not to redistribute, scrape, or systematically download content; share login credentials; or interfere with the Service for other users.

7.       Changes to Terms and Pricing

We reserve the right to modify these Terms or change our subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any material changes, including price increases, via the email address associated with your account.

8.       Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. D Elise After Dark is not liable for any technical interruptions, inaccuracies in content, or damages resulting from your use of the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
